Hi, I’m Jennifer Savage.

A designer-maker in Cast Glass and other materials.

About My Work

A love of the ocean and aquatic life has influenced a lot of my work.; along with a  passion for materials. From lost wax bowls created from an exploration of liquid wax,  to tentacle based creatures escaping from rigid confines.

Living Glass

A series of lost wax cast hinged boxes with a creature reacting to the box.

Specimen Box

A vintage box, adapted to show a series of cast glass specimens that have grown out of their space. Inspired by the plant collections at Kew Gardens.

Fluid Bowl

Lost wax cast dribbly bowls, inspired by the texture and movement of wax.

Across Materials

A collection based on an origami form, cast in glass and pewter, an electroplated wax form and hand-built in ceramic slurry.
